Stand-up comedian.

Josh Novak is a stand-up comedian based in Lawrence, Kansas. He performs regularly at open mics and club showcases across Lawrence and Kansas City, mostly to crowds of strangers who seemed happy enough after he did a set.

His material covers the everyday mechanics of being a person – the awkward interactions, the small failures, the deeply specific things nobody talks about but everyone recognizes. He has never won an award, but he did once get a high five from someone in the front row, which felt significant at the time.

He is working on more material. It is going ok.
